“knee deep in this body of water brings together seven young artists working in Connecticut, to Dutchess County. The premise of this show was born from the sight of a group of cows that were quite literally knee deep in a small body of water. Submerged and also drinking from this shared reservoir as a community. The imagery feels significant for a group of young artists working alongside each other geographically. The show touches on themes of containment in and of bodies, shared and unshared resources, and distant connection.”
